"Ms. Stephanie gave me a voice. As a kid, I would often have difficulty expressing myself, simply because I would become overwhelmed with all of my thoughts. When I was called on in class, the words would stop at my throat when I tried to answer. I would struggle with answering short answer questions because of all the possible correct answers I could give. It was when I started taking classes with Ms. Stephanie that I was finally able to communicate the way that I wanted. This journey did take work, but Ms. Stephanie was with me the entire way, and in the process, I gained more than knowing how to write an essay.
